Over the holidays, an idealistic TV producer is assigned to cover what seems like a light puff piece about a Christmas toy manufacturer. As she spends time with the company and a charming toymaker, the simple seasonal assignment begins to challenge what she thinks she wants, inspiring her to look inward and consider where true happiness may really be found.
