In a small town, a nurse preparing for a blind date lets in a stranger she believes is the man she is supposed to meet. Instead, he is someone else, and his violent assault shatters her sense of safety and control. As she struggles to rebuild her life, his release from prison draws her back toward him, forcing her to confront the trauma and the urge to take back power.
