River

In southern Laos, an American volunteer doctor steps into a violent situation when he intervenes in the sexual assault of a young woman. After the attacker’s body is found in the Mekong River, the doctor is drawn into a rapidly worsening crisis. With the authorities closing in and events slipping beyond his control, he becomes a fugitive in a place where one desperate choice changes everything.
