Charles, a womanizer, and Elaine, a gold digger, have both been using illegal robot doubles to deceive people in relationships. When they unknowingly target each other with the same scam, their doubles form a genuine connection and run off together. With their secret at risk of being exposed, Charles and Elaine are forced to team up, track the robots down, and face what their schemes reveal about them.
