In the California desert, a discarded car tire comes to life and discovers it has a destructive psionic power. Drawn toward a mysterious, very pretty woman, the homicidal tire rolls closer to a desert town, leaving chaos in its path. Its strange adventures unfold under the eyes of incredulous onlookers, who watch as an ordinary object becomes an inexplicable killer.
