Five years after abandoning his pregnant fiancee on their wedding day, Dennis is still living with the consequences of the choice that cost him the woman he loved. Out of shape and desperate to prove he has changed, he decides to take on an unlikely challenge: running a marathon in the hope of winning her back and showing he can finally follow through.
