Shutter Utter

An empty 16mm film projector becomes the subject of close digital rephotography in this experimental work. Brought from film apparatus into the digital domain, the image is examined through video as if under a microscope. In the process, small textures, movements, and visual pleasures that might otherwise remain hidden are made newly visible.
