After his release from prison, Billy Skinner comes back to the low-income neighbourhood he once knew, only to find it transformed. The streets and faces feel unfamiliar, and he struggles with a sense of displacement as a formerly predominantly white community is now home mostly to refugee families. Back in a place that no longer feels the same, Billy tries to make sense of where he belongs.
