Small Body
In Italy in 1900, Agata is a young woman grieving the stillbirth of her daughter. Refusing to accept that the child’s soul may be condemned to the eternal uncertainty of Limbo, she sets out in desperation for a mysterious sanctuary said to hold a miraculous power: to bring the baby back to life just long enough to receive baptism. Driven by fear, faith and love, Agata clings to the only hope she has of saving her child’s soul.
