Son of Saul

In 1944 Auschwitz, Saul, a Jewish-Hungarian prisoner forced to burn the bodies of his own people, clings to a desperate act of dignity amid the camp’s horror. After finding the body of a boy he believes to be his son, he becomes determined to save the child from the flames and arrange a proper Jewish burial, seeking a fragile form of moral survival in an inhuman place.
