Star Trek: The Motion Picture

An unidentified alien spacecraft of enormous power is detected on a course toward Earth after destroying three powerful Klingon cruisers. With the threat closing in, James T. Kirk returns to the newly transformed, overhauled U.S.S. Enterprise and resumes command, leading the starship on a mission to intercept the mysterious vessel before it reaches Earth.
