In mid-1980s Lagos, Tolani Ajao is a naive bank secretary struggling through a series of career setbacks. As her prospects narrow, her friend and roommate Rose Adamson presents a dangerous way out: working as a drug mule. Drawn by the promise of change, Tolani finds herself pulled toward the world of drug trafficking and forced to weigh desperation against risk.
