In New Orleans, two paramedics are drawn into a disturbing pattern of horrific deaths that defy easy explanation. As the cases mount, a connection emerges to a designer drug with bizarre, otherworldly effects. What begins as another series of emergency calls soon tears into their own lives, forcing them to confront a danger far stranger than anything they expected.
