A shy teenager on the Isle of Wight longs to leave her small-town life behind and pursue her passion for singing. Dreaming of pop stardom, she enters a local singing competition with the help of an unlikely mentor. As the contest pushes her into a bigger world, her talent, ambition and integrity are put to the test in a modern spin on the Cinderella story.
