9th Company

A group of Russian army recruits finishes training and is sent to its posting in late-1980s Afghanistan. As the soldiers move from preparation into the realities of deployment, they enter a conflict where the balance is shifting and insurgent forces are slowly gaining the upper hand. The film follows their transition from recruits to soldiers in an increasingly dangerous war.
