The Beastmaster

Dar, the son of a king, is targeted by a priest soon after his birth and raised by another family far from his royal origins. As a grown man, he sees his adoptive father murdered by savages and discovers a supernatural gift: the ability to communicate with animals. With his animal allies beside him, Dar sets out on a sword-and-sorcery quest for revenge against the marauding forces behind the killing.
