An American family settles into Canterville Chase, a stately mansion with a long and unsettling reputation. The house has been haunted for 300 years by the ghost of Sir Simon De Canterville, whose presence has become part of its history. As the newcomers make the old estate their home, they find themselves sharing it with a spirit who has lingered there for centuries.
