The Class

In a tough Parisian neighborhood, teacher and novelist Francois Begaudeau plays a version of himself guiding a classroom through the course of a school year. Working with racially mixed students, he faces the daily challenge of communication, authority, and understanding as he negotiates the tensions and routines of life inside the class.
