The Damned

In a remote Icelandic fishing village in the 19th century, a widow faces an impossible decision when a foreign ship sinks off the coast during an especially cruel winter. With survival already strained by the harsh season, the disaster forces her and the village to confront what they can afford to risk, and what they are willing to do, when help is needed most.
