When a mysterious John Doe wakes in a morgue and wanders into a psychiatric ward, a devoted hospital psychiatrist takes him on as a patient. Frightened and unable to remember who he is, the man insists he has died and returned with something terrible from the other side. As the doctor’s own sanity begins to fray, he and a curious medical examiner search for the dark secrets behind the patient’s impossible claims.
