The Door in the Floor

In The Door in the Floor, a young assistant takes a job with a writer and is drawn into the strain inside his employer’s home. As the household continues to come apart, the assistant is used by others while also setting new tensions in motion. Caught between observation and involvement, he becomes both a pawn and a catalyst in a private world already breaking down.
