A hard-drinking deadbeat and a drug-addicted sex worker form an uneasy partnership with one simple goal: scrape together $98 for bus tickets out of town. As they try to scam their way through the city, their plan keeps running up against bad luck, bad choices, and the personal flaws that make working together almost as difficult as getting away.
