The Golden Rut

It focuses on Scottie Jags (Joshua Holden), a gifted but uninspired actor that is just getting by deep in the heart of Austin, TX when he meets the beautiful, sweet and successful Ebby (Laura Flannery) who runs her own local butter company. Despite historically being a hometown playboy with little direction, his growing love for Ebby inspires a determination and commitment that ends up leading him to the greatest audition of his career with the eccentric and famed Director Moses Duval (Bill Wise).
