The Longest Yard

A former pro quarterback serving time in prison is pressured by a sadistic warden to organize a football team made up of inmates for a game against the guards. As the prisoners prepare to face a team expected to beat them down, he is caught between the warden’s offer of early release if he throws the game and his growing concern for the inmates’ pride and self-respect.
