The Mule

In 1983, a naive first-time drug mule returns from Thailand and is detained by the Australian Federal Police, who suspect he is carrying lethal narcotics inside his body. With the evidence hidden in his stomach and the pressure closing in, he makes a desperate choice: hold out for seven agonizing days, deny what the police believe they know, and try to convince them of his innocence before nature takes its course.
