The Mysterious Gaze of the Flamingo

In 1982, an unknown and deadly disease begins spreading through a small mining town in the Chilean desert. Fear turns into a dangerous legend: gay men are accused of passing the illness through their eyes when they fall in love. As suspicion falls on her family, eleven-year-old Lidia, the only girl in the community, sets out to discover whether the myth is real.
