The New Daughter

After his wife leaves him, writer John James moves with his two middle-school children to an isolated house off a dirt road in rural South Carolina. As the family tries to settle into their new life, John grows uneasy when his daughter Louisa, on the edge of puberty, becomes fascinated by an Indian burial mound on the property and begins acting in increasingly strange ways.
