In a small North Dakota town, Wesley, a young deaf boy, forms an unexpected bond with a fugitive criminal hiding in an abandoned barn on his family’s rural farm. As the man takes refuge out of sight, an unlikely friendship begins to unfold, placing Wesley close to someone who may be dangerous while the fugitive remains concealed in the place Wesley calls home.
