The Pirates of Somalia

In 2008, rookie journalist Jay Bahadur is searching for a breakthrough when a chance encounter with his idol pushes him to take a risky leap. Leaving his old life behind, he travels to Somalia with a rough plan to embed himself with local pirates. With help from a fixer, Jay tries to get close enough to understand who they are, how they live, and what drives them, even as the assignment quickly proves more dangerous than he expected.
