The Rite

American seminary student Michael Kovak travels to Italy to take a course in exorcism at the Vatican, despite his reluctance. In Rome, he meets an unorthodox priest who challenges his doubts and draws him into unsettling encounters with the darker side of his faith, revealing that evil may have a reach even within one of the holiest places on Earth.
