The Runaways
In 1970s Southern California, rebellious teenagers Joan Jett and Cherie Currie become the frontwomen of The Runaways, an all-girl rock band that breaks new ground for future female musicians. As the group rises under the controlling influence of impresario Kim Fowley, the film traces their coming of age and the complex relationship between Joan and Cherie.
