The Scottish Play

A successful actress takes on the role of Lady Macbeth at a small New England theater, hoping to bring new life to a demanding part. As rehearsals unfold, she grows close to the charming but awkward young director, while an unexpected supernatural presence complicates the production: the ghost of William Shakespeare appears, and he has his own ideas about rewriting the play.
