The Secret Agent
In 1977 Brazil, amid growing political turmoil, Marcelo, a technology expert in his early 40s, is forced into hiding and goes on the run. Hoping to reunite with his young son and escape the country, he seeks help from the underground resistance and travels to Recife during Carnival, only to find that the city may not offer the refuge he expected.
