In the aftermath of a turbulent relationship with a charismatic, manipulative older man, Julie turns to her graduation film as a way to make sense of what she has lived through. As she shapes her memories into art, she begins to untangle her conflicted love for him and separate the facts of their relationship from the elaborate fiction he built around it.
