The Space Race

This documentary traces the experiences of the first Black astronauts, pilots, engineers and scientists who pushed against social injustice while working toward spaceflight. Through decades of archive footage and interviews, it reflects on the burden of breaking barriers and shares lesser-known stories of figures including Guion Bluford, Ed Dwight and Charles Bolden.
