Touching the Void

In 1985, climbers Joe Simpson and Simon Yates set out to climb the west face of Siula Grande, a 6,344-meter peak in the Cordillera Huayhuash of the Peruvian Andes. Based on their true story, Touching the Void follows the pair through a perilous ascent that turns into a disastrous and nearly fatal mountain climb in one of the world’s most unforgiving ranges.
