An American music journalist travels to Poland with her father, a charming but stubborn Holocaust survivor, to visit the places where he grew up. Hoping to better understand her family’s past, she pushes for answers and memories, but he resists revisiting the pain of his childhood and keeps steering the trip away from what she came to find.
