Velvet Goldmine

In 1984, British journalist Arthur Stuart is assigned to investigate the career of Brian Slade, a larger-than-life glam-rock superstar who vanished from public view nearly a decade earlier. As Arthur looks back at the 1970s icon he once idolized, he traces Slade’s rise and the early influence of Curt Wild, a hard-living, rebellious American singer.
