In 1864, with the Civil War still raging, Capt. John Hayes is sent to Colorado to take charge of a stagecoach line with a crucial mission: keep Western gold moving to Union banks and support the North’s war effort. In a small Colorado town, Hayes faces a dangerous and little-known front of the conflict, where Southern sympathizers are determined to stop the shipments at any cost.
