Ackley Bridge - Season 1

In a divided Yorkshire mill town, Ackley Bridge College opens after the merger of two very different schools. As British and Asian students are brought together under one roof, old separations and cultural tensions follow them into classrooms, sports teams and friendships. The new school must confront the everyday challenges of integration, identity and belonging in a community still shaped by division.
