Reporter Raymond “Ray” Terrill looks into a group of government scientists who are developing a weapon powered by light. His investigation turns dangerous when he is attacked with a genetic light bomb, an assault that unexpectedly changes him. Instead of destroying him, the blast gives Ray light-based super powers and pushes his life in a new direction.
