After the death of his wife, widowed sportscaster Danny raises his three daughters, D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle, with help from the people closest to him. His rock and roll brother-in-law and his madcap best friend move into the center of family life, bringing support, humor, and very different approaches as they help Danny care for the girls and keep the household together.
