Godfather of Harlem - Season 1

In early 1960s Harlem, gangster Bumpy Johnson returns after ten years in prison to a neighborhood far different from the one he once controlled. With the streets now dominated by the Italian mob and his former power shaken, Bumpy works to reclaim his place in Harlem’s criminal underworld. Loosely based on the infamous crime boss, this series serves as a prequel to American Gangster.
