Longtime neighbours Edith and Phil are ready to turn their friendship into a relationship and begin a new life abroad, with retirement in the sun finally within reach. Their plans are thrown into disarray when Edith’s immature fiftysomething son Roger leaves his wife and children and moves back home, hoping to reclaim the comfort and happiness of his boyhood.
