Buddy Dobbs, a slacker still hiding from a loan shark, keeps living under a stolen identity as Pastor Barlow, the new gay pastor of a small town. As his deception grows harder to manage, Buddy tries to stay ahead of the police while avoiding the criminals who want him dead. Meanwhile, his attraction to Alexa deepens, and Dora begins to question whether the pastor is really who he claims to be.
