Josh Corman is a fifth-grade public schoolteacher in the San Fernando Valley, spending his days and nights trying to make sense of a life that feels far from the one he imagined. He loves his students, but the thought of what might have been still follows him: with a little more luck and a few different choices, he could have been a rock star. Now he searches for happiness and meaning in a world that often seems short on both.
