In late-1970s New York City, a ragtag group of teenagers comes of age in the streets of the South Bronx. Talented, soulful and restless, they chase their dreams amid breakneck beats and a changing city, running wild while helping shape a new sound. Set in 1977, the season follows youth whose energy, ambition and music push them toward a place in music history.
