After nearly three decades as Santa Claus, Scott Calvin is nearing 65 and starting to feel the limits of the job as his magic begins to falter. Faced with the reality that he cannot be Santa forever, he searches for a suitable replacement while helping his family prepare for a new life south of the North Pole. A newly discovered clause pushes Scott to reconsider both his role as Santa and his responsibilities as a father.
