When North Jackson High’s longtime principal steps down to care for his ailing wife, vice principals Neal Gamby and Lee Russell both see a chance to take the top job. Gamby, an overprotective father obsessed with becoming principal, must compete with the popular Russell, until their mutual disdain gives way to an uneasy alliance aimed at undermining the newly appointed Dr. Belinda Brown.
