Women of the Movement - Season 1

This limited anthology series chronicles the civil rights movement through the women who helped shape it. Season 1 focuses on Mamie Till Mobley, a mother whose life is forever changed by the brutal murder of her son, Emmett Till, in the Jim Crow South. In the aftermath, she devotes herself to seeking justice for Emmett and confronting the racism that surrounds his death.
